• Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-day options, including a full-day Summer Camp program for children up to 11 years old

At Building Brains Academy, the stated mission is to build a strong academic foundation from infancy through elementary school, supporting children at every stage of their learning journey. The program offers a seamless infant-to-elementary model with developmentally appropriate childcare and elementary programs that use a specialized curriculum. It includes a unique dual-language (English/Spanish) elementary program for Kindergarten through Second Grade, described as an exclusive dual-language program for those grades.

Building Brains Academy uses the Edu1st VESS bilingual international curriculum that promotes critical thinking and follows the Making Thinking Visible approach of teaching from Project Zero at Harvard University. The curriculum is described as STEAM + Critical Thinking, with a rich, interdisciplinary, multilingual experience and a specific focus on fostering thinking and life skills necessary to lead a meaningful life with balance and wisdom. The program is described as not a daycare center and emphasizes small class sizes and small, personalized groups.

The preschool and elementary program is described as having a pristine classroom environment filled with order and beauty and free from clutter. Homemade meals and snacks are served, and they are described as free from artificial colors and highly processed ingredients and organic whenever possible. The program accepts the Step Up Scholarship (FES-EO) for the Elementary Program for Kindergarten through Second Grade, and Edu1st VESS is noted as a bilingual curriculum approved for Florida’s VPK Programs.

One parent testimonial describes a VPK teacher, Ms. Mei-Ling, as radiating love for her students and her work, making every activity fun, engaging, and easy for the children to understand, and turning learning into a daily adventure. Another parent testimonial states that their family has had a wonderful experience with Building Brains Academy, noting staff who are described as caring, attentive, and invested in the children’s well-being and development, and mentioning that their daughter enjoys attending, comes home happy and engaged, and is eager to share what she has learned.
