O2B Kids offers preschool, afterschool, summer camp, and birthday party activities, along with classes in gymnastics, dance, karate, cheer-leading, yoga, sports, drama, music, art, science, technology, and chess. The program also includes PlayGroups and BrighterBabies activities, and uses a 34,000 square-foot O2B Kids SuperCenter that features a magical play village for unscripted “funanigans” and an organized calendar of daily classes from the arts and sciences to fitness and fun for specific skill development.

O2B Kids was established in 1998, with its first Supercenter location opening in Gainesville, Florida that same year, and it celebrated 25 years of business in August 2023. The company was founded by two best friends, Andy Sherrard and Danny Stevens, who traveled together for a year around the world in 1992, and later expanded O2B Kids through multiple new locations and acquisitions in Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, Alabama, and additional states including North Dakota, South Dakota, and Illinois. Its stated mission is, “We exist to help parents grow happy, successful kids.” Every O2B Kids location is nationally accredited or in the process of becoming nationally accredited, and the organization has developed its own Beekeeper management software, Funnydaffer curriculum software, and Honeycomb communication software. O2B Kids organizes the O2B a Kid Again fundraiser, described as a “Grown-up’s Day to Play,” which is the only day of the year the facility is open only for adults, and this event has raised over $500,000 for local public schools through live music, a silent auction, a barbecue dinner, and games. The program also hosts Parent Night Out fundraisers for local charities, schools, and civic organizations, and its face-painters and balloon artists regularly appear at community events such as festivals, school carnivals, art shows, and fundraising events. Employees participate in United Way campaigns, volunteer in local schools, and serve on boards of local non-profit organizations, while students raise money and contribute to charities including local Humane Societies, Alex’s Lemonade Stand, Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital, UNICEF, and the Red Cross, as well as organizing canned food drives, book drives, and teddy bear collections. Additional features include Pick-Your-Days Care, O2B Kids Founders’ Club Scholarships, Parent Night Out fundraisers, community events and school carnivals, and an emphasis on learning through play, with programs and facilities that vary by location.
