NoiseMakers Rock Camp gives campers time to learn the basics of popular instruments and strengthen skills on instruments they already play. Campers work together in a band setting, write songs, make music videos, make music-related art, and perform at the end of the week.
• Schedule: Spring Rock Camp runs March 24–27 from 9am–2pm, and Summer Rock Camp meets weekly in June from 9am–2pm.
• Price: Rock Camp $275/week; optional before and aftercare $25/day.
Seventeen years of NoiseMakers Rock Camp history are described as “seventeen years of unforgettable music, teamwork, and performance.” NoiseMakers Rock Camp is partnered with Operation Coexist. The program notes that all camps are age-appropriate and designed for every skill level, from beginners to experienced musicians. It also offers music classes for all ages and instruments, private lessons, a laid back rock ’n’ roll atmosphere, a One Night Band option where a group learns a rock song in 2.5 hours and has the final performance recorded or videoed, and a Songwriters’ Night class that meets every Tuesday at 7pm.
