Sew Pinellas Sewing Classes and Camps

Sew Pinellas Sewing Classes and Camps is led by Jennifer Fairbanks, a St. Petersburg native with over two decades of teaching experience. Her background includes teaching at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco and Los Angeles, where she focused on sewing and pattern drafting. She has authored multiple books on pattern drafting and lingerie design and previously founded a fashion design school in Redlands, California that worked with charter school programs and hosted summer camps. The program describes itself as an incubator for sewing enthusiasts and learners, and its mission is to teach sewing as a skill and form of self-expression for the next generation. Sew Pinellas collaborates with Porcelynne, which focuses on lingerie supplies, to offer a diverse and comprehensive sewing experience, and invites sponsors to support the Sew Pinellas community.
