Montgomery Center’s mission of hospitality is to welcome all people to experience Christ and Creation in ways that deepen faith and strengthen relationships. The site is located on 167 acres and is a 25-minute drive to Gainesville and 45 minutes to Jacksonville. Montgomery Center was named one of America’s top Summer Camps in 2024. The organization invites people to learn about its disaster assistance ministry, conservation efforts, and community engagement.
Former participants and guests have shared that every kid and adult who steps foot on camp property leaves a different person at the end of their time, that they feel close to God there, and that staff “served with your heart, not just your hands.” Counselors have said that kids rely on Montgomery and that being trusted to be part of that is a blessing. A high school student thanked the camp for supervising the challenge course and said it helped their group listen and communicate more effectively.
