About
Young Actors Theatre offers classes and programs in music, acting, dance, film, and combinations of acting, singing and dancing. The program presents professional-caliber productions and includes an audition-based Company of 120 young actors. Young Actors Theatre serves over 800 children each year.

Young Actors Theatre has been educating students in the performing arts since 1975 and was founded by Tina Williams. Classes are taught by experienced, innovative instructors. The program operates with a nonprofit mission and offers scholarships. Its stated purpose is to invest in the next generation of talent, create arts advocates, and develop future leaders who can think creatively and critically.
Every year, Young Actors welcomes more than 10,000 audience members of all ages, along with additional shows for school children and community members at partner events. One testimonial from Michelle Kazmer, Dean of the Florida State University College of Communication and Information at Florida State University, states that Young Actors Theatre is preparing the next generation of elite stage artists and preparing students with creativity, resilience, confidence, public speaking, technology, and teamwork skills.
