Moccasin Stables

Moccasin Stables offers English horseback riding lessons for boys and girls in K-12, scheduled by appointment. It also offers Summer Camp, Spring Break Camp, Winter Camp, and Horse Day Camp for kids; Summer Camp includes a Counselor in Training option for ages 13-16.

About the provider

Moccasin Stables was selected for the 2022 Best of Tallahassee Award in the Equestrian Riding Center category. It offers STE UP FOR STUDENTS and the US Pony Club curriculum from D to A. Its mission statement says it provides the opportunity to create a lifelong partnership between horse and rider and to introduce and instruct boys and girls of all ages in horsemanship through lessons, summer camps, and shows.

24 hours notice is required for cancellation of lessons or it will incur a loss of 1 lesson from the package. Spots are limited for camps. Campers are told to bring long pants or leggings, riding boots, helmet, sunscreen, hat, lunch, water bottle, and riding helmets.
