About
Seminole High Performance Tennis offers junior players of all levels and ages an opportunity to train through overnight and daily summer camps, high performance after-school programs, and daily beginner classes. The program uses small group instruction, technical instruction, collegiate style drilling, and world-class video analysis, and follows a team coaching approach while also addressing the personal needs of each player. The camp is open to any and all entrants, only limited by number, age, gender, and grade.

The leadership team includes Dwayne Hultquist, FSU Men’s Head Coach; Sudanwa Sitaram, FSU Assistant Coach; Nathalie Phelps, High Performance Tennis Coach and Assistant Director; and Lina Guzman, Tennis Program Coordinator. The stated mission is to provide the city of Tallahassee and surrounding areas with an elite community-based tennis program that integrates with the Florida State University Tennis Program, offers instruction, and promotes teamwork to achieve individual goals, with small groups and personalized instruction as a central focus. The program’s goals and values include providing a community environment for players to train, practicing team coaching with each athlete, emphasizing technical development, focusing on fun while competing, demonstrating the importance of sportsmanship, developing team unity within the camp, providing guidance in scheduling, goals, and development plans, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
