About

Seminole High Performance Tennis offers summer tennis camps, after school programs, daily beginner classes, and high performance after-school programs. The program includes collegiate style drilling and world-class video analysis as part of its training. It provides a community environment in which players can train together on a daily basis, with a focus on fun while competing, technical development, sportsmanship, and team unity within the camp. The program also provides guidance in scheduling, goals, and a development plan, and it specializes in both overnight and daily summer camps.

The program’s mission is to provide the city of Tallahassee and surrounding areas with an elite community based tennis program that integrates with the Florida State University Tennis Program, using small groups and personalized instruction as a cornerstone. Its philosophy revolves around team coaching while also addressing the personal needs of each player, and it states that players will reach their highest potential whether at the junior level or collegiate level. Seminole High Performance Tennis offers junior players of all levels and ages an opportunity to train with what it describes as the best coaches and players in the country, and it notes that the camp is open to any and all entrants, only limited by number, age, gender, and grade. The program’s reputation is based on small group instruction, technical expertise, collegiate style drilling, and world-class video analysis, and it states that it aims to create memories that will last a lifetime. The leadership team includes Dwayne Hultquist as FSU Men’s Head Coach, Sudanwa Sitaram as FSU Assistant Coach, Nathalie Phelps as High Performance Tennis Coach and Assistant Director, and Lina Guzman as Tennis Program Coordinator.
