Tampa Prep Summer Programs

Tampa Prep Summer Programs offers Camp Terrapin, Academic Classes, and Academic & Enrichment Camps. Camp Terrapin activities are held in the Walter Athletic Complex, Smith Black Box Theater, art room, Colwill Aquatic Complex, Shimberg Field, and Virtual Reality IDEA Lab, and Camp Terrapin runs from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm with AM Care from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and PM Care from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm for a fee. Academic classes run from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm daily, and enrichment classes run from 8:30 am to 10:30 am and 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

About the provider

The Summer Programs leadership team includes Mychael Sumby, Director of Summer Programs, and Nick Comella, Assistant Director of Summer Programs. Summer Programs are open to students from rising 1st-12th Grade and are open to the public. Camp Terrapin is co-ed. Parents who withdraw after registration will be charged a 25% withdrawal fee, and no refunds will be given for a camp after May 1, 2026 or for academic classes after June 5, 2026.
