The Oysters at Work event is family-friendly but geared for ages 10 and older. The Off the Beaten Path Hike - Cypress Swamp site features orchids, ferns, and epiphytes, and participants are told to plan to get wet. Nature's Hidden Wonders Walk is described as a family-friendly nature hike exploring wet and dry habitats of “Our Wildest Place.” Stories & Songs with the East Lake Library is for children ages 0–5 and their caregivers. The Mr. Brad Show is described as a high-energy hour of familiar sing-a-longs and original songs on a dozen instruments. Registration is required for all programs, hikes, events, and webinars, except Book Time at Brooker where registration is not required.

The 2026 ECO Educator Workshop is the 14th annual offering of the Exploring Environmental Education Curriculum Options (ECO) Educator Workshop and is described as a nationally award-winning, week-long environmental education workshop. It is for pre-service elementary and ESE education students, current elementary and ESE teachers, and non-formal and middle school educators, with different curriculum taught each year. Certificates are awarded for completion of specific portions of the ECO training and a final certificate of completion. The workshop is offered by the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) Extension Pinellas County's Natural Resources Agent. Lara Milligan is a Natural Resources Agent for UF/IFAS Extension Pinellas County, Dr. Megan Moore is a Pasco County Sea Grant Agent who hosts a program on Vertical Oyster Gardens, and George L. Heinrich is a local herpetologist and environmental educator with Heinrich Ecological Services.

Summer Camps and Teacher Camps are yearly events sponsored by partners. Programs are presented in partnership with the East Lake Community Library and East Lake Library, and the Off the Beaten Path Hike is offered with the Friends of Brooker Creek Preserve (FoBCP).
