The Summer Dance Program includes classes in Hip Hop, Contemporary, Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Tumble Time, Musical Theatre, Tiny Tap, Tiny Hop, Tumble Fun, and Lyrical, along with mommy & me dance, tumbling classes, and preschool gymnastics/acrobatics. The program runs as a 4-week session from July 7–31 and offers multiple class options across different days of the week.

Dance Depot, which offers the Summer Dance Program, was established in August 2001 and is celebrating 25 years. The mission of Dance Depot is to utilize dance to inspire all members of the community by educating dancers, delighting audiences, and fostering an appreciation for dance and the arts. The leadership team includes Owner/Revolution Director Jolene Coates; Studio Manager/Instructor Jeryn Clement; Instructor/Revolution Assistant Director Bekah Ellis; Site Coordinator Stacey Mair; Instructors Leeanna Register, Jess McCann, Caitlyn Gee, Madison Lucas, and Nicole Pringle; and Assistant Emily Cox.

Owner Jolene Coates began dancing at age four, later performed with the Stars of Tomorrow performance company, and has performed in cities including New York, Las Vegas, and Orlando, as well as internationally in Denmark and Russia, and at venues such as Sea World, Disney World, and Busch Gardens. Studio Manager and Instructor Jeryn Clement started dancing at age two with Dance Depot, was part of the Revolution Performance Company for 10 years, has danced for 20 years, and has performed on two cruise ships, in New York on Broadway, in Nashville at the Country Music Hall of Fame, at Disney, and other locations, and has been teaching and choreographing since 2018. Instructor and Revolution Assistant Director Bekah Ellis danced on the Revolution Dance Team for 13 years and the Competitive Team for several years, began assisting and then teaching classes as a teenager, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a K–5 teaching license in Florida.

Site Coordinator Stacey Mair has over eight years of dance studio management experience, about a decade in the childcare industry, a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Education from the University of Central Florida, and experience teaching preschool gymnastics/acrobatics, mommy & me dance, and tumbling classes, as well as working as a summer camp counselor and after-school teacher for students ages 2 to 18. Instructor Leeanna Register started dancing at age five at Dance Depot, competed throughout Florida, studied many styles of dance, began teaching at 17, and trained and performed with Emotions Dance Company and Crawford Jazz Project. Instructor Jess McCann has training in jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary, modern, ballet, and pointe, has performed in the Nutcracker with the Dance Alive Company from Gainesville, was accepted into the Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts at age 17, has auditioned for Disney, So You Think You Can Dance, and the School of American Ballet, and has trained dancers accepted into programs at The Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts, The Joffrey Ballet School, and Orlando Ballet School, as well as competitive dancers who have received top awards.

Instructor Caitlyn Gee began dancing at age two, started competing at age seven, has competed at multiple regional and national competitions, has competed multiple times at the World Dance Championships, and has taken master classes at Gus Giordano’s and Joffrey Chicago. Instructor Nicole Pringle has been dancing for 17 years and teaching for three years, teaches Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, and Acro for all skill levels, and teaches competition dances including solos, duos/trios, and groups that have received 1st and 2nd place in the 2024 season; she has experience dancing with Disney, Dance the Magic in New York City on Broadway, Orlando Magic, and is currently an Orlando Prowler. Dance Depot notes that summer dance classes are described as a way to stay active and learn new skills while having fun, that there are options for both beginners and experienced dancers, that limited spots are available for the Summer Dance Program, and that online registration is open. Dance Depot also offers private lessons, a Parent Portal, and an online shop where families can purchase uniform essentials such as shoes, tights, and leotards for home delivery.
