Southside Training Centre

Southside Training Centre offers classes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), MMA, wrestling, boxing, kickboxing, and kids martial arts. Classes are expert-led and include dedicated options for complete beginners as well as experienced martial artists. Sparring is not compulsory and, when included, is carefully encouraged and supervised, and injuries during training are described as exceptionally rare.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Open Monday to Saturday with morning and midday classes, most sessions held from 4 PM onwards on weekdays, and classes available from 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturdays.

Southside Training Centre states that it welcomes all ages and skill levels and describes its community as supportive, with skilled instructors. The program’s mission is to offer martial arts classes for individuals of all ages, experiences, and goals, within a community of people from diverse backgrounds who share an interest in martial arts and self-improvement. A free week trial is available. For first-time participants, the only clothing needed is shorts with no pockets, a t-shirt, a towel, and a change of clothes.
