Pasco County Summer Day Camp

Pasco County Summer Day Camp offers Traditional Summer Day Camp, Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park Nature Camp, the CIT program, and EPIC. Traditional Summer Day Camp runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., includes weekly field trips, and requires each participant to bring a lunch and snack each day. Before care is available from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and after care is available from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for $20 per week. EPIC is an inclusive summer camp with an Inclusion Support Leader at each site and an extra counselor in each group for a 1:4 support ratio within a group of 17 campers.

Programs

• Traditional Summer Day Camp — Kids ages 5 to 12 who meet the following: use restroom without assistance; completed kindergarten; follow directions and perform routine daily tasks without one-on-one guidance; comfortable in a 17:1 camper-to-counselor ratio · Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. · $65–$95 per week · Before care available 7:30 am - 8:30 am and after care available 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm for $20 per week. Weekly field trips are included. Holiday closure: no camp Friday, July 3rd.
• Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park Nature Camp — Ages 7 to 12 · $150 per week
• CIT program — Teens ages 13 to 17
• EPIC — Ages 8 to 17 with intellectual, developmental, or physical disabilities · $130 per week · Inclusive summer camp. Each site has an Inclusion Support Leader, and EPIC groups include an extra counselor, providing a 1:4 support ratio within a group of 17 campers.
