The Cox Science Center and Aquarium states that its mission is to “Open Every Mind to Science” and that it has been serving Palm Beach County since 1961. The organization notes that camp programming and tech ventures are based on computer coding, robotics, and other leading-edge educational programs, and that camp schedules are subject to change and not all camp age groups or tech camps follow the same schedule. It also states that camp scholarships are not currently available and that any updates will be posted, and that payment is due at the time of registration, with spots subject to cancellation if there is an outstanding balance.

The CSCA Jr. Adventurer's League Pilot Program is described as a learn-while-you-play experience using pen-and-paper table-top roleplaying games as its foundation. Jr. Adventurer’s League is described as touching on foundational arithmetic, geometric and spatial understanding, and critical thinking skills, and notes that campers will have the opportunity to bolster reading comprehension and writing abilities throughout the playing process.

One parent review from Rockin' Reviews reports that a 6-year-old attended science summer camp for six weeks, that every week had a different theme, that the child made new friends, and that the counselors were very attentive and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Another Rockin' Reviews testimonial states that after attending tech camp, a daughter developed a love for learning she did not have before and felt more confident with new things. A third Rockin' Reviews comment states that Science Center Camp offered a mix of fun and learning, and that two children enjoyed the outdoor and indoor exhibit exploration and the weekly themed science lessons.
