Champions Champ Camp

Champions Champ Camp includes outdoor water play, visits to zoos and aquariums, bowling, STEM projects, art activities, and group games. Each week features a new theme that shapes activities such as STEM and play. The program uses a research-backed curriculum with hands-on experiences and outside time, along with field trips.

• Schedule: Join for one week or more, for some of the summer or all summer long

Champ Camp Great Outdoors is described as an adventure-centric program with exclusive access to unique resources and outdoor experiences. Financial support and discounts may be available for some families. Most sites offer breakfast, lunch, and snacks, and in sites that provide meal service, the menu satisfies applicable federal and state nutrition guidelines and includes whole grains, fruits, vegetables, lean protein, and calcium-rich foods.

Champions states that it is a safe, healthy place for children and that emotional wellness is an essential part of its curriculum and approach to education. The staff is described as qualified, caring, reliable, and trained in child development, early childhood education, or related fields. Teachers and staff undergo extensive training on health and safety practices, including pandemic-response protocols, and are trained in first aid and CPR, with criminal background checks conducted.
