Goldenrod Recreation Center Youth Sports and Fitness Programs include the Junior Magic Basketball Clinic, recreational competition cheerleading, Jazzercise dance classes, Karate classes, and access to a gymnasium, game room, and fitness center workout room through various memberships. • Schedule: Park outdoor amenities are open daily with summer hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and winter hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; indoor recreation center amenities are open Monday–Saturday 8 a.m.–8 p.m. and Sunday 1–8 p.m., with specific program sessions such as the Junior Magic Basketball Clinic running January 24 to March 7, 2026, and weekly classes for cheerleading, Jazzercise, and Karate.

The Junior Magic Basketball Clinic is co-ed for ages 9/10, 11/12, and 13/14, and the fee includes a game jersey, certificate, and a ticket opportunity to an Orlando Magic basketball game. Registration for this clinic is open now through January 24, 2026, or until full, and it meets on Saturdays from January 24 to March 7, 2026. Proof of Orange County residency with a utility bill and personal ID is required for this clinic, and a parent or legal guardian must register the child and provide the child’s birth certificate.

Champions in Motion recreational competition cheerleading is taught by Lisandra Torres on Thursdays, with 30-minute classes for ages 4–6, 45-minute classes for ages 7–9, and 45-minute classes for ages 10 and older. Jazzercise dance is taught by Rebecca Rosario on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9–10 a.m., and on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6–7 p.m. Karate is taught by Nicolas Morrison on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7–8 p.m., with each class lasting one hour.

Youth Fitness Membership is free for ages 8–17 and allows use of the gymnasium and game room at assigned times, and a parent or guardian must be present to complete enrollment. Fitness Center Membership provides access to the fitness center workout room, gymnasium, and game room for adults, with different pricing for ages 18–54, 55+, and active military. Teen Fitness Center Membership for ages 16 and 17 costs $25 per year and requires the teen to be accompanied by an active adult member over age 18 for the entire workout, and parents must sign up the eligible teen member.

Pickleball for adults ages 18 and older is offered on Sundays from 1–3 p.m. and on Mondays and Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., with the cost included in a fitness center membership or $10 per day. Badminton for adults ages 18 and older is offered on Tuesdays from 6–8:30 p.m., and table tennis for adults ages 18 and older is offered on Sundays from 1–5 p.m. and Tuesdays from 6–8 p.m., with table tennis listed as open play on a first-come, first-served basis.
