Goldenrod Recreation Center Youth Sports and Fitness includes recreational competition cheerleading, gymnasium use, game room use, and access to a fitness center workout room. The program also offers pickleball, badminton, table tennis, Jazzercise dance, Karate, and Tai Chi. Recreational competition cheerleading is offered through Champions in Motion.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Youth recreational competition cheerleading meets on Thursdays in three age groups between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.; additional weekly options include Jazzercise, Karate, Tai Chi, and adult pickleball, badminton, and table tennis at set days and times.
• Price: Champions in Motion cheerleading costs a $15 membership fee plus $10 per class; Youth Fitness Membership for ages 8–17 is free; Fitness Center Memberships for adults range from $25 for 90 days to $100 per year, with reduced annual pricing for ages 55+ and active military; Teen Fitness Center Membership for ages 16–17 is $25 for 90 days or $100 per year; pickleball, badminton, and table tennis are included with a fitness center membership or $10 per day; Jazzercise dance ranges from $20 for a single class to $74 for unlimited monthly classes; Karate costs $50 per month for unlimited classes; Tai Chi is free.
