Camp Good Grief is for children and teens ages 5 to 18 who have experienced the loss of a parent, sibling, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or anyone who has been important in their life. Appropriate meals and snacks are provided during camp. The camp’s mission is to help children who are struggling with the difficult emotions of a loss. Camp Good Grief staff, which is led by a team of grief and loss professionals, are carefully screened and receive specialized training on children’s grief issues, and group leaders encourage children to process their grief in a healthy and non-threatening constructive way.
