The program operates under the tutelage of Eddie Camden, one of the highest ranking American instructors who holds the highest certification awarded by the Gracie family. The academy is the only school in Atlanta certified to teach Gracie Jiu Jitsu by the Gracie Academy in Torrance, California, and it is a Certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Training Center. It has been serving the local Roswell/Atlanta community for more than twenty years. The academy has been voted the #1 Roswell Kids Karate School in Atlanta. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Gracie Combatives, Gracie Bullyproof, Women Empowered, and Certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Training Center are registered trademarks used under license from Gracie University.

Parents and students describe the instructors as very attentive and the environment as having a team and family vibe, with higher belts who are patient and eager to help, according to Ant Pec. One parent, Susan Javier, reports that her son enjoys what he has learned and that families and instructors are committed and treat people respectfully. Another student, Mayte Suarez, reports training at the academy for almost four years, describes the teachers as very technical and the people as family friendly with no egos, and recommends the training for women and girls for self awareness and empowerment.
