In 1978, Kermit the Frog and Jim Henson joined Vince Anthony in cutting the ribbon on the Center for Puppetry Arts. More than 40 years later, the Center for Puppetry Arts produces over 600 performances a year and offers more than 50 types of educational programs. The Worlds of Puppetry Museum is home to more than 5000 puppets and artifacts. The Center for Puppetry Arts has a digital platform that presents programming in all 50 states and 9 countries. Puppet Camp registration is open for Summer 2026, and Preschool Puppetry Playshops are offered for children ages three to five. The Center for Puppetry Arts’ mission is to inspire imagination, education and community through the global art of puppetry. Team Building Through Puppetry is described as an incredibly unique and enjoyable experience that groups talk about, apply, and remember long after the workshop.
