Lisa's Dance Spot offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, pointe, and acro/gymnastics. The program also includes performance teams, competitive teams, and Adult Tap classes.

In April of 2007, Lisa's Dance Spot opened its doors. The studio lists 50+ years of dance experience, 19+ years in business, 16 experienced instructors, a free trial dance class for kids, and a New Student Intro Program (LDS Intro Program). The studio offers competition and performance teams, Adult Tap classes, safety procedures with safety as a top priority, and studio rentals on Sundays.
Founder and owner Lisa Pillow began her dance and cheer experience in high school and became a member of the Terpsichorean’s Dance Troupe at Hampton University, touring and performing throughout the east coast. She trained under Judith Jamison, was a member of the Hampton University Marching Force Band dance team Ebony Fire and served as captain for 2 years, and later became an Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader for two seasons and remains active through the Alumni Association. She has served as director of several youth cheer programs, implemented after-school dance and cheer programs, and choreographed performance and competition pieces for middle and high school dance and cheer teams, with over 30 years of experience.
Lisa's Dance Spot states that, regardless of age or ability, each student has the capacity to experience a connection to their body, to move as a musical instrument, and to be part of a worldwide artistic community. The mission emphasizes individual attention, different experience levels working together, and a vision of developing dance leaders and choreographers of the future, while striving for best in class rankings and sharing a love of dance with the community and the world.
The studio is a multi-national and 2025 World Dance Champion award-winning studio, with 16 Nationals Championship Titles and recognition as multi-national award winning and back-to-back World Dance Champions. Lisa’s Dance Spot has implemented after-school dance and cheer programs and choreographed performance and competition pieces for middle and high school dance and cheer teams.
