School Age Centers (Fort Stewart & Hunter Army Airfield)

School Age Centers (Fort Stewart & Hunter Army Airfield) offers arts and crafts, dramatic play, technology activities, homework help, physical fitness, and recreation. The program includes involvement with The Boys & Girls Clubs of America and 4-H Club, as well as Before & After School Care, Hourly/Occasional Care, and full day Winter, Spring, and Summer Break Camps. The centers serve breakfast and afternoon snacks daily, with lunch provided on school out days and camp days, and the facility is cashless.

• Ages: 5–11 years old
• Schedule: School Age Center – FS offers care Monday–Friday in the mornings and afternoons during the school year, with adjusted hours on training holidays and full-day hours on school out days; School Age Center – HAAF offers similar Monday–Friday morning and afternoon hours, with adjusted hours on training holidays and full-day hours on school out days.

All Child and Youth Services (CYS) programs at the School Age Centers require registration at Parent Central Services. Families create an account on MilitaryChildCare.com to request care, and Parent Central Services assists in completing the CYS registration process. The School Age Centers are described as being designed to create a healthy, safe, and enriching environment for children in kindergarten through 5th grade.
