Sandy's Sandbox Child Care and Learning Center

Sandy's Sandbox Child Care and Learning Center offers homework tutelage, cooking activities, craft activities, and onsite field trips as part of its after-school program for school-age children. The centers use the Pinnacle Curriculum and the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS), and the Pinnacle Curriculum is one of the recommended curriculums from Bright from the Start, the Department of Early Care and Learning.

All teachers at Sandy's Sandbox Child Care and Learning Center hold a credential in Early Childhood Education, and several teachers have received advanced degrees. The Bonaire Center and the East Bibb Center serve children from 6 weeks to 10 years and house a Georgia Lottery-Funded Pre-K Program that is free to all Georgia residents, and both centers have before- and after-school programs that transport children to and from area schools. The Shurling Center serves children from 6 weeks to 5 years and has a Private Pre-K Program for 4-year-old children. Sandy's Sandbox Child Care and Learning Center is the first privately owned daycare in central Georgia to achieve the Quality Rated Designation.
