Legacy MMA Club Kids Before/After School Karate & Summer Camp offers before and after school karate and a summer camp that includes karate, mixed martial arts (MMA), Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, self defense, kickboxing, Muay Thai, Kenpo Karate, and wrestling. The program also includes fitness kickboxing and opportunities to take part in tournaments and spring break events. Kids participate in individualized programs that teach martial arts, leadership, focus, and discipline, and each sign-up includes a complimentary uniform.

Legacy MMA Club Kids Before/After School Karate & Summer Camp is part of Legacy MMA Club, which offers more than 25 classes each week as well as personal training sessions. The program includes free transportation from school to a secure facility and transportation to and from school, and is described as a transported after school facility. It offers flexible schedules and classes for all experience levels, with experienced instructors who can teach any skill level, and instruction from what the program describes as the best trainers in the business.
The head instructor, Dustin “The Villain” Chovanic, is a 6th degree black belt in Kenpo Karate, holds both state and national level titles in karate, and fights at the professional level in both MMA and Muay Thai. He has been training in the martial arts since the age of 4, represented the United States Karate Team from 1997 to 1999, and was the 2000 National Karate Champion. The leadership team also includes local fighter Ivey Mewborn, who has trained under Dustin for many years, and Gabe Leatherman, a 2010 Western Carolina University graduate who has trained under Dustin Chovanic for the past 7 years.
Legacy MMA Club states that its goal is to provide professional level training in a family friendly environment. The program highlights that it is Gwinnett’s premiere karate, mixed martial arts, kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and transported after school facility, and that it is continuing to bring the Gwinnett area training in karate and mixed martial arts.
