Millennium Academy is part of a network of childcare, preschool, and early education schools managed by Otter Learning, LLC. As part of this network, students plant, grow, and harvest. The program follows the mission statement “Be Safe. Be Kind. Grow Together.”

Millennium Academy is part of a best-in-class network of early childhood education schools focused on social and academic success. Otter Learning schools offer a learning environment filled with activities that are both challenging and fun, supported by highly trained staff and an exclusive curriculum. Otter Learning uses a holistic approach that empowers children to ask questions, solve problems, and develop emotional intelligence inside and outside of the classroom. Professional educators use recognized and developmentally appropriate milestones in partnership with parents. Otter Learning emphasizes inclusion, welcoming all children, families, and team members. Otter Learning schools serve as a safe haven (holt) for children and the community to develop independence, make mistakes, and enjoy the freedom of learning. Intentional school design and natural environments are used so students spend time in traditional classrooms and outdoor natural environments. Otter Learning is committed to teaching students and families the principles of respecting and restoring their environment through the River Keepers community, where the community of River Keepers gathers for events and carries forward stewardship of the neighborhoods where they work, serve, teach, and play.
