About
Morning Glory Farms - The Art Barn gives kids a chance to gather farm fresh eggs, peek into the gardens, and spend hands on time with animals in a safe, supervised, friendly environment. Children meet chickens, ducks, bunnies, lambs, goats, donkeys, horses, and pigs, learn fun farm facts about each animal, and hear what each animal’s job is on the farm. They can explore Mr. McGregor’s Garden, try to count the bunnies, check out Compost Corner and the Wild & Wiggly Giggly Worm Ranch (under construction), hop a hayride pulled by an antique ’57 Ford tractor named Matilda while singing farm songs, and create a piece of art in The Art Barn.
• Ages: 3–12 years old
Kids also visit the Busy Bee Garden to see where honey comes from and peek into the Peanut Butter & Jelly Garden to see what is sprouting. They can make a wish under the Magic Wishing Arch for something good for their family and the planet, enjoy a picnic under giant old magnolia trees, and stop to smell the roses in the Friendship Garden while thinking about someone special. The program includes time in the hen house to look for green eggs. Morning Glory Farms - The Art Barn is led by Farmer Sue. The farm offers learning opportunities for groups of every size, from small family gatherings to field trips for schools of any size. The mission of the program states that families will feel like they are at home with friends and family as they experience what farm life is all about.
