About
Morning Glory Farms - The Art Barn gives kids hands-on time with friendly farm animals in a supervised setting, including chickens, ducks, bunnies, lambs, goats, donkeys, horses, cows, and pigs. Children meet the animals, learn farm facts about each one and its job on the farm, and take a guided walking tour with educational stations around the farm. They see what is growing in Mr. McGregor’s Garden, look for bunnies, explore nest boxes for green eggs or hatching chicks, visit Compost Corner to see worms and learn about their jobs, and stop at the Busy Bee Garden to learn where honey comes from. The program also includes making a wish under the Magic Wishing Arch, enjoying a picnic under giant magnolia trees or on a blanket in the field, stopping to smell the roses in the Friendship Garden, creating a piece of art, and taking a hayride on 70-year-old antique tractors if they will crank.
