About
Illumination Station Vacation Bible School focuses on the theme “Illumination Station VBS,” which is described as “the brightest week of the year.” During the program, kids explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals. The program also focuses on how many people claim to know about Jesus but are in the dark about who He really is.

• Schedule: June 1–4, 6–8:30pm
Vacation Bible School is for kids entering K5 through completed 5th grade. The program is led in part by Missions Pastor, Bailey Snow. Grasp International, whose mission is to save children from sex trafficking in the Amazon and to train them up to be missionaries, receives financial support from the same church that runs Illumination Station Vacation Bible School. The church also partners with a local Christian foster care agency called Families for Families to support local Christian foster homes with resources like meals and date nights happening regularly at the church. It provides a completely free Single Mom’s Oil Change service twice a year, which typically serves around 200 mothers each event with a free oil change, basic service on their vehicle, breakfast for them and their children, and a Gospel presentation. The church hosts an annual Trunk or Treat as a family-friendly alternative to Halloween for the community, serving around 1500 people each year with candy, popcorn, cotton candy, games, bounce houses, and live worship and Gospel presentations. It organizes Threads of Love to make clothing for people in need locally and abroad, contributes money to the International Mission Board and North American Mission Board, and has an active Woman’s Missionary Union group that organizes regular food drives for local school-aged children and blood drives with the American Red Cross.
