Gold Medal Swim Camps offers two 2-hour water sessions each day that focus on technique development and improvement in all strokes, along with starts and turns training. Camp activities include daily filming, multiple film sessions using underwater cameras, stroke and technique demonstrations by college swimmers, and a technical breakdown of each stroke by collegiate coaches. The program also offers guest speakers throughout the weekend and an add-on Starts & Turns session.

Gold Medal Swim Camps includes clinics that are to the point and full of information and are described as clinics designed to provide competitive swimming technique training to beginner to advanced competitive swimmers. These are not learn to swim clinics, and participants receive individualized attention from former Olympians and collegiate coaches. The program offers an overnight camp option and has partnered with US Sports Camps.
Gold Medal Swim Camps is led by Coach Courtney Shealy Hart, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, five-time NCAA champion, and the 2000 NCAA Women’s National Swimmer of the Year. She was a standout swimmer at the University of Georgia, earning a school-record 26 All-America honors and contributing to back-to-back NCAA team championships in 1999 and 2000. She competed for the United States at the 2000 Olympic Games, Pan-American Games, Pan Pacific Championships, and World Cup events. She served as head coach of Georgia Tech’s swimming and diving programs from 2009 to 2024, following assistant coaching roles at North Florida and Georgia Tech, and during her coaching career she guided 39 NCAA Championship participants, produced multiple All-Americans and conference champions, and oversaw numerous school records. In September 2024, she became the regional director of development in Atlanta for the University of Georgia and is a member of the Georgia Aquatic Hall of Fame and the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame. The program’s stated mission is “Harnessing the Champion in Every Swimmer!”
