• Ages: 5–18 years old

Mathnasium of Columbus Bradley Park supports K–12 students of all skill levels, including early childhood, elementary school, middle school, and high school, as well as programs for Catch Up, Keep Up, Get Ahead, Math Facts, Test Prep, Summer at Mathnasium, enrichment, and placement prep for advanced students. All students begin with a diagnostic assessment that pinpoints what they already know and what they still need to learn, and then work from a customized program for any level of mathematics. The Mathnasium Method™ is a proprietary teaching approach, and instructors at this center are certified in this method.

The leadership team includes Center Director Mac Barron and Math Instructor Tom Hobbs. Mac Barron studied Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech and is pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Columbus State University. Tom Hobbs holds a Master’s in Math Education from Columbus College and a B.S. in Communication from the University of Tennessee, spent nearly 30 years teaching high school math (most of them at Smiths Station High School), and is a U.S. Army veteran and former instructor for the Infantry Officer Advanced Course.

The mission of Mathnasium of Columbus Bradley Park is to teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it, with the belief that math can change their lives and they can change the world. The center serves students across Columbus and nearby communities, including Bradley Park, Green Island Hills, Allendale, Moores Forest, and Riegel Pointe, and supports local schools such as National School of Sleep Medicine, Growing Room Too of Columbus, My Little School, Britt David Magnet Academy, and Brookstone School.
