Girls Golf Conyers

Girls Golf Conyers introduces participants to learning the game of golf. The program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of golf in a structured setting.

Site Director Carolina Mincey leads Girls Golf Conyers. The program’s mission is to empower girls through the game of golf. It welcomes girls aged 6–17 to join its community and states goals of keeping girls engaged in sports, increasing retention, instilling confidence, inspiring active lifestyles, providing social opportunities and lifelong friendships, and encouraging family involvement. Girls Golf Conyers states that it strives to create an exciting and supportive environment, aims to change the face of the game, and sets a goal that every girl involved will feel important, appreciated, respected, supported, and safe. The program also states that whether a participant is there for a season, a day, or an hour, the experience with the program will stay with her for life. The program notes community involvement through its partners, referred to as “Our Partners Girls Golf Conyers.”
