Whitfield County 4-H Youth Development Programs and Camps

Whitfield County 4-H Youth Development Programs include in-school programs for 4th–12th grade, Project Achievement, competition teams, and community service. The program also offers teen leadership training programs, local day camps, Georgia 4-H summer camps, and a range of local, district, state, regional, and national conferences.

• Ages: 9–18 years old
• Schedule: Office hours Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, closed for lunch 12pm–1pm

Whitfield County 4-H is part of UGA Cooperative Extension, which is a collaboration between Georgia county governments, the USDA, and the University of Georgia's colleges of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences and Family & Consumer Sciences. For more than a century, this network has provided research and education through specialists, agents, and volunteers to help Georgians learn, grow, and do more. Its stated mission is to translate the science of everyday living for farmers, families, and communities to foster a healthy and prosperous Georgia. Whitfield County 4-H states that it serves the Dalton-Whitfield community in a variety of areas through equipping young people to be active leaders. The program is identified as an Equal Opportunity Institution.
