The program includes an intervention component that integrates key math, writing, and literacy skills for grades 1st–8th into the camp structure, and each camper receives an Argo Prep Summer Academy workbook. The camp describes a leadership group that focuses on college and career readiness through weekly hands-on sessions in self-discovery, goal setting, career research, college awareness, and creating resumes or bragsheets. The mission statement explains that Eureka Summer Camp was developed in response to data showing that the pandemic caused students to struggle with social isolation, mental health, and learning loss, with a focus on improving academic and emotional wellbeing and strengthening key skills for the upcoming school year.

The program states that it aims to create a safe environment, with children always escorted to different locations and never left alone. Each child is provided with their own container for supplies, pre-packaged snacks are served, and hands are washed throughout the day.
