The BEST After School Program in Gray includes indoor sports and games, educational lessons, arts and crafts, and daily sports and games. The program also features interactive guest speakers, as well as special activities such as water slides and bounce houses.

The program’s mission statement says that in the After School Program, the staff love creating successful kids and are committed to each child’s progress in school, sports, leadership, and life. The program only hires coaches who have years of experience, are fully trusted, and have passed a comprehensive level-2 background check, which is the same type of background check that is required to be a school teacher in Gray. It currently serves children who attend Turner Woods and Dames Ferry, and it accepts a limited number of students from those schools. Safe and secure daily transportation is included in each child’s membership, and the program also offers full-day camp options when school is closed during the year, as well as a summer camp. The After School Program sells out quickly each year, and there are only a few spots left for the 2027–2026 After School Program.
