Summer Innovation Camp offers engaging summer learning that includes hands-on experiences for students. The program is part of the Liberty County School System’s offerings during the summer.

The mission of the Liberty County School System is to provide all students an education which promotes excellence, good citizenship, and a love of learning. The system’s leadership team includes Mrs. Debra B. Frazier, Superintendent, and Dr. Zheadric Barbra, Deputy Superintendent, along with district leaders such as Mr. Arnold Jackson, Chief Operations Officer, and Mrs. Stephanie Clark, Chief Financial Officer. Additional leaders include Mrs. Kellie Zeigler, Assistant Superintendent for Teaching & Learning; Mrs. Michele Dasher, Executive Director of Human Resources; Mrs. Sonja Duncan, Executive Director of Special Programs; Dr. John Ryan, Executive Director of Technology and Media; and Mrs. Mindy Yanzetich, Executive Director. The leadership team also includes Ms. Genese Baker, Director of Public Relations; Mr. Toriano Gilbert, Director of Federal Programs; Jermaine Williams, Executive Director for Student Services; Mr. Michael Cooper, Maintenance & Operations Manager; Ms. Angel Gay, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent; and Julie Brannan, Executive Assistant to the Deputy Superintendent. The camp is a FREE opportunity that includes free transportation, free breakfast, free lunch, and hands-on experiences.
