Hinesville Childcare Learning Center, 204 Martin St, Hinesville, GA 31313
About
Hinesville Childcare Learning Center offers infant childcare, before and after school care, a Georgia Lottery Funded Pre-K program, and a summer camp program. Children can take part in field trips, and school-age children receive homework assistance from a Certified Teacher. The center combines the EXCEEDS curriculum with a safe and stimulating environment and uses redirection and calm down stations in the classrooms.
Hinesville Childcare Learning Center has been in business since 1982 and has served multi-generational families. The center has been owned by Bennie and Joyce West for over 32 years, and Jennifer Brinkley serves as the Director. The Georgia Lottery Funded Pre-K educational program has been a part of the facility for over 20 years.
The center is NAEYC Accredited and is a 3 out of 3 Star Quality Rated Program, rated by Bright from the Start, Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning. It continues to stay in compliance and pass inspections with the Fire Department, Health Department, Federal Food Program, and Bright from the Start. The program uses a Family Engagement app so families receive daily updates, pictures, and messages from their child’s teachers throughout the day. The center has secured entrance systems and video monitoring in all the classrooms and on the playground, and has recently expanded to serve Hinesville families at two separate locations.
Lead teachers are trained with a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or are enrolled in courses to obtain an Associate Degree in Early Childcare, and staff is trained in the Anti-shooter self defense course. The before and after school program provides students with a place to unwind, complete homework, socialize, and enjoy a nutritious snack. The summer camp program includes a variety of fun and educational activities and field trips and is described as keeping children active and engaged all summer long with activities that promote healthy living and keep their minds stimulated.
Hinesville Childcare Learning Center states that it promotes learning through play, places emphasis on creativity, exploration, and discovery, and believes that all learning is achieved through play. The center describes its environment as bright and spacious, yet warm and inviting, and as providing a loving and nurturing environment. It offers a “Happy Family Guarantee,” which states that if a family is not happy with the care provided in the first two weeks of attending, tuition for those two weeks will be refunded. The center also offers a referral program called “Spin It, To Win It!” with chances to win gift cards, cash prizes, reduced and free childcare, and additional leave days.
One parent testimonial states, “My daughter has been going to Hinesville Childcare since she was a year old. Most days I practically have to drag her out of there. It eases my mind knowing that she loves being there so much that she hardly wants to go home. I know that she is in great hands when I take her to Hinesville Childcare.”
