About

Pioneer Youth offers mentorship and academic support for youth, along with meals and consistent care. The program provides a regular place for students to spend time with mentors and receive help with schoolwork during after-school hours.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday after-school programs with separate hours for elementary (2:30pm–4pm) and middle/high school (4pm–6pm)
• Price: 100% free programs for all youth

The mission of Pioneer Youth is empowering and inspiring youth to reach their full potential, surrounding local youth with mentorship, academic support, meals, and consistent care, and supporting families along the way. Pioneer Youth reports more than 2000 hours of building relationships, with over 40 youth attending daily and more than 200 youth served in 2025. The organization notes that youth have reliable access to meals and a place to be after the school day ends, and that this can help parents breathe easier, knowing their children are cared for and encouraged. Pioneer Youth Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3).

The leadership team includes Founder and Executive Director Emilee Abraham; Program Directors Katelyn Smith and Jacob Campbell; Board Chairman Chris Morgan; Jessica Henderson (Real Estate Agent, Dweli); Thomas Wicker (Senior Tax Accountant); Masey Stanley (Actress and Author); Jay Hanlon (Founder, Filter Tech Inc); and Stuart Mullins (Marketing Director, Lead Every Day 1853 Creative). Pioneer Youth states that it works with local families, mentors, volunteers, and partners to provide steady care that strengthens students and the families who support them.
