Dragon Academy offers before and after school programs and curriculum-based summer camps. The program uses the Frogstreet curriculum for children and includes healthy meals and snacks, as well as plenty of physical activity for children. Dragon Academy has a state of art security system with video monitored classrooms and playgrounds.

• Schedule: Center hours Monday–Friday, 6:30am–6:00pm
At Dragon Academy, the stated mission is to help each unique child maximize their personal growth and development, foster a love of learning with the “little dragons,” and offer a fun, safe and caring environment in which they can learn and grow. The program uses the Frogstreet curriculum for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years and offers curriculum-based summer camps.
Founder and Head Dragon Fern Pegus has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia and has been helping small businesses for the last 18 years. Director Donna Samples has a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education, a Masters in Reading and Literacy, has worked with children in the childcare industry for over 20 years, and has been a Director for over 15 years. Lindsay Harrison has an associate degree in Psychology, has taken several early childhood education courses, and has director experience. Director of Education Kristin Autry has a bachelors in Elementary Education with a focus on Early Childhood Education and has been in early childhood education for 31 years. Jessica Hale serves as Director of Compliance, and Ms. Jessica is the Director of Operations.
Fern Pegus was honored with the “Ripple Effect” award from Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs. Mrs. Pegus also served on the Board of Directors for the non-profit North Gwinnett Arts Association, which educates children and adults in the arts. One parent shared, “We feel so blessed to have our children at Dragon Academy. We have been extremely happy with our experience and appreciate the extra care you all provide for our girls,” signed by Mrs. Walters.
