About

MyNana's Clubhouse offers common core classes along with daily work on fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and art skills. The curriculum focuses on the individual interests of the children in each classroom and is based on a play and child-centered educational philosophy with very little direct instruction. Teachers are encouraged to play with the children and use every teachable moment while following learning objectives set forth by the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS), which support the growth of the whole child from birth to age five across five domains of learning.

• Ages: 0–5 years old

MyNana's Clubhouse operates as a progressive early learning center with a learning environment described as safe, stimulating, encouraging, productive, and proficient. The program states a mission to provide reliable, affordable, and top-rated childcare services in a nurturing and creative learning environment. It emphasizes a diverse environment where children of all backgrounds, races, and religions can learn together and from each other, with respect for each person’s beliefs and a stated commitment to diversity and inclusion. The program notes that it develops relationships with students and their families, actively listens to understand, and maintains a commitment to providing top-rated service at all levels. It also states that it encourages creativity and life-long learning and works together to build a stronger organization and community.

According to the program, GELDS standards used at MyNana's Clubhouse address physical development and motor skills, social and emotional development, approaches to play and learning, communication, language, and literacy, and cognitive development and general knowledge. The program materials indicate continuous operation at least from 2019 through 2026.
