About
MyNana's Clubhouse is a progressive early learning center that follows a play-based, child-centered educational philosophy. The program focuses on common core classes along with daily practice of fine and gross motor skills and art skills. Teachers are encouraged to play with the children, use very little direct instruction, and use every teachable moment in the classroom.
• Ages: 0–5 years old
MyNana's Clubhouse states that its mission is to provide reliable, affordable, and top-rated childcare services in a nurturing and creative learning environment. The program aims to enrich the lives and minds of students and their families in a diverse environment where children of different backgrounds, races, and religions learn together and from each other. The learning environment is described as safe, stimulating, encouraging, productive, and proficient, with a goal of fostering children’s natural curiosity and a love for learning.
The curriculum at MyNana's Clubhouse follows the learning objectives in the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS), a set of research-based early learning standards that support the growth of the whole child from birth to age five. GELDS addresses five domains of learning: physical development and motor skills; social and emotional development; approaches to play and learning; communication, language, and literacy; and cognitive development and general knowledge. The program has been in operation during the years 2019–2026, as indicated by the © 2019–2026 MyNana’s Clubhouse notice.
Parent testimonials describe MyNana’s Clubhouse as having staff who are warm, welcoming, and kind, and who communicate with families through an app, including the brightwheel app. Parents report that their children enjoy going to the program, that there is a daily routine, and that they receive photos and updates about their child’s day. One parent notes that meals provided are described as wonderful and nutritious, and several parents state that they researched multiple daycares before choosing MyNana’s Clubhouse.
