About
Camp Success Academy offers daily academics and enrichment classes that include music and movement, STEAM, cooking, art, sports, karate, and physical play. The program also provides private music lessons, private dance lessons, private tutoring, homework assistance, indoor field trips, themed weeks, educational enrichment, and entrepreneurial activities.

Camp Success Academy’s programs are owned and operated by certified educators and use teachers, paraprofessionals, and aspiring youth and young adults as staff. The founder and visionary, Leshia Reed-Anderson, is an interrelated resource teacher at Baggett Elementary School in the Gwinnett County Public Schools District. Camp Success Academy held its first summer program in 2015 at the Community Achievement Center in Dekalb County and expanded to Baggett Elementary School in Gwinnett County in 2016, where it has been the sole provider of summer and after-school programming since 2016. The mission of Camp Success Academy is to provide exceptional after-school and summer programming while fostering each child’s intellectual, social, physical, and moral development in a safe student-centered environment. The program is vetted and approved as a Gwinnett County Schools childcare provider and operates within multiple elementary schools in Gwinnett County. It is a Three Star Quality Rated Program, licensed by Bright from the Start, and has been voted Best of Gwinnett two consecutive years in a row, including Best of Gwinnett 2021, and is described as the first and only 3 Star Quality Rated after-school program in Gwinnett County. One parent notes that Camp Success Academy provides breakfast and lunch every day during camp and describes the camp as safe, well structured, and staffed by educators who provide structure for the children.
