Code Ninjas

Code Ninjas offers hands-on activities that include building their own video games, debugging code, basic block coding, programming in Minecraft and Roblox, robotics, and other coding projects. The program also includes hands-on work with coding, robotics, and AI.

• Schedule: Store hours Tuesday–Friday 3:00pm–7:00pm and Saturday 9:30am–3:00pm

Code Ninjas states that its mission is: “We’re developing the next generation of problem solvers, creators, and leaders.” The organization notes that Code Ninjas is the world’s largest and fastest-growing kids' coding franchise, with hundreds of locations in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. It describes self-paced, personalized learning with Code Senseis, an Outcome-Based Learning approach with clear learning goals, and a curriculum developed with creation in mind. Code Ninjas uses a proprietary learning platform called IMPACT, where participants follow tailored learning tracks through different Belts, and also offers the Code Ninjas Prodigy Program and Code Ninjas Camps.

Code Ninjas reports that it strives to have a positive relationship with the community by providing a safe and welcoming learning environment for kids outside of school and by encouraging students to use coding skills to address local problems through apps or websites. The program has received the ISTE Seal of Approval. Leadership information lists Navin Gurnaney as CEO of Code Ninjas.
