• Schedule: Class and program options Monday–Friday between 3:00pm and 8:30pm, with additional availability by appointment on weekends

Founded in 2013, Patriot Karate has been training leaders in the Gwinnett and Walton communities since 2015, and the entire school is dedicated to karate, academics, and the Loganville/Grayson community. The program’s mission states that Patriot Karate is committed to empowering children through the development of self-confidence, discipline, and respect for themselves and others, and every program focuses on training leaders through building respect, discipline, and self-confidence. The afterschool program is designed for ages 5–12, and the summer camp program offers weekly field trips, crafts, new friendships, and pizza every Friday, with each week described as a new adventure full of action-packed fun. The Patriot Karate Competition Team practices every Friday from 5:30–7:30 and competes in several studio-sponsored competitions throughout the year, and many students are registered in the Georgia Masters Karate Circuit (GMKC). Classes and camps take place in a state-of-the-art studio facility, and every class begins with students reciting a student creed and includes the opportunity to earn Patriot Karate Dedication Stars.

All classes and camps are led by world-class black belt instructors, and the team of expert black belt instructors is described as highly credentialed, respected, and trusted by students and their families. One parent, Michelle Coleman-Crane, shares that Patriot Karate is a great place for kids of all ages and temperaments and notes that staff helped her 5-year-old son with techniques to use on the mat when he felt overwhelmed or emotional, and that he enjoys every class because “it’s fun.” Another parent, Harvey Horne, says that his kids love going for afterschool, school break camps, and karate classes, and that staff across roles create a positive learning environment that promotes fun, fair play, and discipline. A third parent, Allison Taylor, says her family loves Patriot Karate in Loganville, describes the instructors as skilled, patient, and great with children, and notes that her kids have shown improvement in physical fitness and self-esteem, that the studio is clean and well-maintained with a welcoming and positive atmosphere, and that there is a strong sense of community among students and parents.
