Long County 4-H is part of UGA Extension and follows the mission of translating the science of everyday living for farmers, families, and communities to foster a healthy and prosperous Georgia. Parents can sign up to receive announcements and reminders about upcoming Long County 4-H events through the Remind messaging system. Required 4-H forms for any event include a Code of Conduct and a Medical Form, with the electronic Code of Conduct valid for a full school year and Medical Forms valid for one year unless changes are needed.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: 4-H Office hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–12pm and 1pm–5pm.

Parents can enroll in specific Remind groups based on their child’s grade level: Cloverbuds for K–3rd grade by texting @k3gcbclc to 81010, Cloverleafs for 4th–6th grade by texting @456gcllc to 81010, and Jr/Sr 4-H Club for 7th–12th grade by texting @jrsr4hlc to 81010. UGA Extension, which includes Long County 4-H, is a collaboration between Georgia county governments, the USDA, and the University of Georgia’s colleges of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences and Family & Consumer Sciences.
