Long County 4-H shares information about upcoming events, meetings, contests, resources, and educational experiences. The program includes District Project Achievement, where participants prepare a project portfolio that includes main project work, research and sharing, helping, leadership and community service activities, and other 4-H related activities. Parents can receive announcements and reminders about these activities through Remind and social media.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: 4-H Office hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–12pm and 1pm–5pm.
Parents can sign up for Remind to receive announcements and reminders about upcoming events, with separate text codes for different grade groups: Cloverbuds (K–3rd Grade) use @k3gcbclc, Cloverleafs (4th–6th Grade) use @456gcllc, and Jr/Sr 4-H Club (7th–12th Grade) use @jrsr4hlc, all sent to the number 81010. The program also shares updates through its Facebook page and Instagram account. For any event that a 4-H’er participates in, both Code of Conduct and Medical Forms are required, with the electronic Code of Conduct valid for a whole school year and Medical Forms valid for one year unless changes need to be made.
