Our Giving Garden Camps

Our Giving Garden Camps take place at a 501c3 nonprofit farm and education center. The camps are part of a larger organization that offers programs, events, and camps connected to the garden and its work.

Our Giving Garden was established in October 2016 as a 501c3 nonprofit farm and education center with a mission to interrupt poverty through fresh food access, education, and greenspace access. The organization has a leadership team that includes Founder and CEO Judy Byler, Secretary Kate Thalacker, Treasurer Kenny Perkins, and Board Members Dan Bruton, Mikhail Whitworth, John Martzall, Jenna Dennisur, Kristin Lemmerman, Stephanie Bryan, Amanda Harris, and Tina Schwenke. Since its founding, the garden has grown and donated over 17,000 pounds of fresh produce and farm fresh eggs to its free food pantry and other pantries in the area, and in 2025 alone it processed and donated almost 30,000 pounds of produce, eggs, and donated food. The garden has also gathered donations such as other food items, books, and coats for families in need across the community.
