Sewell Mill Cultural Center was established in January 2018. Its stated mission is to offer arts and cultural programming to the East Marietta community. The center is a joint-use project between Cobb County Public Library and Cobb County PARKS and hosts community events in partnership with the Cobb County Library System. The art gallery features rotating exhibits from local artists and groups, and the black box theater seats 80–120 people with two dressing rooms and a small green room. The outdoor amphitheater has open-air seating for approximately 150 people and is available for rent.
