Compassion Kids and Students includes Compassion Kids services and Compassion Students gatherings. Compassion Kids offers on-site programming, and check-in for Compassion Kids opens 15 minutes before the service starts. Compassion Students includes middle school Discipleship Groups, as well as Middle School & High School student nights.
• Ages: Birth–18 years old
• Schedule: Sunday morning and evening options, plus a Wednesday evening service
Middle school Discipleship Groups meet on Sundays at 9AM. Middle School & High School student nights meet on Sundays from 5PM to 6:30PM. Growth Track in-person meeting times are Sundays at 11AM. Midway campus service times are Wednesdays at 6:45PM and Sundays at 9AM and 11AM.
Compassion Kids is described as a safe, fun, and engaging environment, with every Compassion Kids service described as packed with energy, creativity, and care. Compassion Kids provides an environment where kids (birth–5th grade) can discover who Jesus is in a way that makes sense to them, and the church offers engaging, age-appropriate programs for kids from newborns through elementary school during services. Compassion Students serves students in 6th–12th grade, emphasizes that students are known, valued, and loved, and encourages students to grow in their relationship with Jesus and their community.
The mission of Compassion Students is stated as “We exist to lead students into a life-changing relationship with Jesus,” and the mission of Compassion Christian Church is stated as “Our mission is to lead people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus.” The church states that it believes faith starts young and grows with love. Events for students include hangouts, serve days, baptisms, and bonfires, which are described as being about connection and building community that goes beyond Sunday. The Midway Campus Pastor is Phil Fincher, and the Midway Campus Connections Pastor is Shamus Kwiatkowski.
