Spivey Hall Summer Music Camp is a week long, in-person, day camp where campers sing in chorus, play in a percussion ensemble, play tone chimes, and develop basic piano skills. The program also includes group activities and games. The camp session begins Monday Jul 7, 2025 at 8:00AM and culminates in a free public concert in Spivey Hall.
• Ages: 9–12 years old
• Schedule: Week long, in-person, day camp beginning Monday Jul 7, 2025 at 8:00AM
Spivey Hall Summer Music Camp is a fun, week long, in-person, day camp for boys and girls entering grades 4 through 7, designed for both boys and girls who will be in 4th–7th grade in the 2024–2025 school year. Participation is not limited to previous choral experience; however, students need to be able to sing on pitch (in tune) before camp begins, and music teacher recommendations are required. Camp size is limited to a maximum of 45 students.
Spivey Hall, Clayton State University’s acoustically superb recital hall, cultivates a community of artists and audiences who share a passion for the discovery and appreciation of outstanding music through concerts and learning experiences. Spivey Hall fulfills its mission by presenting performances by outstanding international classical, jazz and world-music artists and through music education programs developed in collaboration with educators, all of which address the needs of the diverse communities it serves. Spivey Hall has presented the best in jazz and classical music to the metro Atlanta area since 1991.
