Montgomery County Recreation Department Youth Sports Programs offers a range of youth sports, including basketball, T-ball, softball, baseball, flag football, cheer, tackle football, soccer, and kickball. The program offers sports during the winter, spring, and fall seasons. Online registration is available through the program’s registration system.

The program is led by Recreation Director Kendal Bennamon. Its mission is to create recreational opportunities for growth and enhancement by developing services and programs that promote citizen involvement, to promote a strong sense of community while striving to increase the social, cultural and physical well-being of its residents and visitors, and to maintain quality parks, facilities and recreational activities. The recreation department states that its goal is to ensure children and the community develop athletic skills and healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
