About

Summit Family YMCA Youth Programs include swim lessons, water safety, swim team, and a variety of sports such as basketball, gymnastics, pickleball, tennis, and volleyball. The program also offers day camp, summer day camp, school break camp, afterschool, teen programs, group exercise, community wellness activities, and programs for active older adults.

The Summit Family YMCA has served the Coweta County community for more than 20 years. The branch’s leadership team includes Summit Family YMCA Group Vice President & Executive Director Shane Gann and Associate Executive Director Erin Hight. Amenities that support these youth programs include an indoor pool, therapy pool, gymnasium, group exercise spaces, tennis and pickleball courts, a wellness center, a Play Center for childcare, family locker rooms, and facilities for afterschool and school break camps.

Reflecting its Judeo-Christian heritage, the YMCA of Metro Atlanta is an association of volunteers, members, and staff, open to and serving all, with programs and services which build spirit, mind, and body. Financial assistance is available based on need, and the YMCA actively seeks to identify and involve those in need.

The Summit Family YMCA partners with local nonprofits including the Samaritan Clinic, Sisters for Society, Hoping Forward, Backpack Buddies, Clothes Less Traveled, and others to provide a range of services to community members who need assistance. The Y also hosts an annual Veterans Expo, a family-friendly community event that highlights military outreach organizations, services, and resources.
