The company states that its science lessons are carefully researched and are developed with the help of science educators, teachers, and children, and that each unit involves observation, measurement, identification of properties, and experimentation in life, earth, and physical science concepts. The program’s mission statement notes that it focuses on real-world science through activities in areas such as veterinary medicine, Mini Medical School, drones, 3D printing, Virtual Reality Pokemon, America Doll, Wizarding World, LEGO robotics, forensics, video game creation, food science, paleontology, engineering, chemistry, biology, astronomy, oceanography, emergency medicine, and special effects.

Club SciKidz was established in 1997. Owners Bob and Sue Hagan have more than 30 years of combined teaching experience and both hold a Master’s Degree in Education. The organization notes that it is looking for certified teachers, college students, and outstanding high school seniors as staff. Club SciKidz has received STEM.org Recognition and states that it offers over 70 themed science summer camps for grades PK–8th and that its programs are designed for children ages 4–15.

Parent testimonials describe the camps as having fun activities, kind and caring staff, and organized, well-run sessions, and mention that children enjoyed the variety of activities, experiments, and interaction with other kids and counselors. One testimonial notes that the teenagers and young adults who facilitated activities were “great,” and another states that among five different camps attended in one summer, Club SciKidz was the family’s favorite.
