Revved Up Kids is a 501c3 nonprofit on a mission to protect children and teens from sexual abuse, exploitation and trafficking in real life and online. Training programs for students and staff meet the student and staff requirements of Georgia Laws SB401 (Erin’s Law) and HB287, and the STRONG Teens program fulfills the GaDOE self-defense training requirement for high school. Revved Up Kids provides internet safety training for schools in Georgia and human trafficking training in Atlanta that aligns with Georgia HB287. As of May 2026, Revved Up Kids has equipped 50,295 children and teens to be safer. Revved Up Kids works with public and private schools across the 13 county metro Atlanta area to deliver learning opportunities for children and adults, and it has achieved Top Rated Nonprofit status for the past eight years on GreatNonprofits.org and on Google.

One parent described a safety class with instructor Mr. David as “a fantastic experience packed with much learning, and helpful information” and noted it gave them tools to talk with their child about protecting themselves. A school social worker stated that Revved Up Kids teaches children and teens to recognize and protect themselves from unsafe people and teaches parents about the dangers of predators, the internet, and social media. Other parents and caregivers reported that their children were very engaged, that the material was presented in an age appropriate way, and that the training was active and included a variety of self-defense moves. One attendee noted that a child “will absolutely need a snack and drink to get through the two-hour session.” Multiple reviewers described Revved Up Kids as a quality, kid-focused charity run by people who are dedicated to child safety and who focus on practical skills that can be performed by children of various ages.
