Camp C.A.R.E. (Children Are Really Extraordinary)

Camp C.A.R.E. (Children Are Really Extraordinary) offers weekly field trips and academic support as part of its camp experience. Every camper at Camp C.A.R.E. is encouraged to take part in a wide variety of activities at their own pace and learn that “I can” is much more powerful than “I cannot.” In an environment created just for them, children learn real-life skills, develop self-esteem and gain a sense of independence and community.

• Ages: 5–13 years old
• Schedule: School breaks and summer, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Camp C.A.R.E. 2026–2027 opening May 26th–July 31st

Camp C.A.R.E. states that it is the perfect solution to holiday and school break childcare and is open on holidays and while school is out. The program accepts CAPS. Whether children are playing, exploring nature, conquering new heights, or becoming part of the camp family, they are creating memories that will last a lifetime. Camp C.A.R.E. provides a welcome place to encourage critical thinking and to promote respect for others. Camp C.A.R.E. believes that providing close personal attention to each child is essential for a quality experience for all children. The goals of Camp C.A.R.E. are to help parents feel secure and comfortable about the care of their children and to assure a safe, educational, and fun experience for the child.

Camp C.A.R.E. will not deny enrollment to any child based upon race, creed, sex, or national origin. All accepted enrollments are on a trial basis, and Camp C.A.R.E. reserves the right to terminate the enrollment agreement if the program does not meet the needs of the child. There is a late charge of $1.00 per minute per child after 6:00 p.m., due and payable in cash at that time, and persistent tardiness will result in termination. Camp C.A.R.E. will be closed in observance of Memorial Day and Independence Day, and if a holiday falls on a weekend, Camp C.A.R.E. will be closed on the Monday after or Friday before.
